Interns Needed for Summer 2020

Aslak Lie Internship:

Help us rebuild the historic Aslak Lie home.  Using primarily hand-tools from Lie’s era of building (1848), you will be instrumental in raising the second floor.  Unlike the base floor, which was dovetailed logs, the second floor is of the post and beam type of construction. Work will include finishing up the timber restoration work, erecting the walls, and preparing for the roof addition.  This is a paid internship at $10/hour.

Deadline for applications: May 15, 2020

Anticipated start date: June 1, 2020

Library Intern:

Help us organize our book collection, employing hands-on skills – tagging according to a library system of your choice, entering into a database, and filing away on the shelf where it can be found.  This is a paid internship at $10/hour.
