Online Events

Elena Terry of WildBearies and Dr. Lucy Long of the Center for Food and Culture joined in us December 2020 for a conversation and cooking workshop. This event was sponsored in part by Wisconsin Humanities. Check out the video below!

On October 17, 2020, Sue Truman went live with this free crankie presentation for the benefit of Folklore Village.  We hope Sue will be able to travel to Folklore Village in 2021 for a Folk School class in making crankies!

Karen Ann Hoffman, tradition bearer and beadworker from the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, talks about her work with the Friends of Folklore Village during an online fundraiser and presentation on October 3, 2020.

Thanks so much to Craig Siemsen for presenting this wonderful Facebook Live concert on May 1, 2020, in a benefit for Folklore Village!
