Abbie Gale Lehman grew up on a small farm in the Driftless, and has been an avid forager for years. After earning her degree in Geography/Environmental Science from UW-Platteville, her appreciation for the Driftless only grew. “We are situated in such a unique place in so many ways. Understanding cultural, geological, and ecological changes over time really underlined for me how special this area is.”  In recent years, Abbie has worked fervently within the farm-to-table movement, both on the farm and in the kitchen. Currently, Abbie is the Kitchen Gardener at Taliesin Preservation, Inc.
