Come spend a delightful day at beautiful Folklore Village!  Camp instructor Johanna Gorman-Baer will lead off with some creative play and brainstorming; and then everyone will do games, art, crafts, and theater activities, all geared for the 3rd—6th grade set.  Sample activities include candle making, soap carving, fairy/gnome houses, percussion instruments, and a prairie walk.

Students need to bring the following: Appropriate shoes and clothing for being active outside, sunscreen, water bottle, 2 snacks and a brown bag lunch—(refrigerator available).

Johanna Gorman-Baer is a teaching artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a regular teaching artist with the Childrens’ Theatre Company, Youth Performance Company, and at Folklore Village, and has been leading classes and workshops for all ages since 2006. She specializes in community-oriented
process-based theater classes, folding together creative play, emotional literacy, and honest exploration.

Please bring your bag lunch and any snacks for this fun day at Folklore Village.
