Materials fee: (To be collected directly from students by instructor in class): $15 which covers yarn, warp thread, and use of classroom looms.
Lacie Mackintosh discovered weaving nearly 20 years ago as a beautiful way to express texture and color, and she is honored to share its meditative and expressive qualities with students. Over time, She has honed her skills through self-directed study, workshops, and a healthy dose of hands-on experimentation. Lacie’s class is driven by the belief that anyone can learn the foundational techniques to create a meaningful woven piece—even if fiber art isn’t their main focus. She looks forward to helping students unlock their own creativity through tapestry weaving.
