Upcoming 2024 Barn Dances

October 5 Balfolk Barn Dance with Bob Walser and the McNordiques

Join us for a lively evening of Bal Folk music and dance from the countries of France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, UK, Belgium, and Ireland! Enjoy familiar dances like the waltz, schottische, and polka, along with not so familiar ones, such as the polska, bourrée, aleman’s marsj/chapelloise, gavotte and more. Bob Walser will provide step-by-step instructions and inclusive teaching will make it easy to follow along.

The music will be provided by the McNordiques & Friends, a unique ensemble featuring accordions, nyckelharpa, cittern, pipes and even a washboard!  Whether you’re a dance enthusiast or simply love listening to great music, you’re invited to join us for an evening of fun!
November 9 with The Firesides and Martha Tyner
