Meals
Folklore Village enjoys a long-standing reputation for excellent food. Please keep in mind that as we celebrate ethnic foodways at Folklore Village meals, we feature recipes that include meat, real butter, and often cream. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available for those who selected these when registering. Our catering team will do their best to accommodate other dietary restrictions but cannot gaurantee every requirement will be met. Contact Kelli Emerson at programs@folklorevillage.org with questions.
Alcohol
Folklore Village does not serve alcohol. Class B beverages (wine/beer/wine coolers) are permitted but are not provided by Folklore Village.
Lost & Found
Our lost & found easily becomes a black hole, so we recommend that you mark all your belongings so they can find their way back to you before you leave. We hold lost items for up to 14 days and then make donations to charity.
Photo Release
By entering event premises, you consent to photography, video, and audio recording and its release, publication, and reproduction. If you do not consent, you must inform Folklore Village in writing of your desire not to be photographed or recorded and include a photo of yourself with the correspondence.
Spectating
Folklore Village festivals are participatory events. We do not offer a spectator rate. If you wish to attend as a spectator, you will be asked to pay the regular participant rate.
Cancellations
Folklore Village will retain a $20 processing fee for any cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the start of a festival. After that date, $20, or 40% of the festival registration fee, whichever is greater, will be non-refundable. There will be no refunds if you cancel less than one week before the start of a festival. However, you may receive credit for a tax-deductible donation to Folklore Village.
*Cancellation policies for the Festival of Christmas & Midwinter Traditions vary slightly. See the Midwinter page for more details.
