T Marie and Bayou Juju channel ancestral and next generation South Louisiana sounds. This band serves up a fresh take on traditional Cajun, Creole, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, and Nola R & B, and then wows you with new original songs imbued with that good juju from the bayou. Check out their albums featuring everything from acoustic improv in an empty cathedral, to live shows from the sweaty dancefloors of dive bars, to the sounds of a seven piece band rocking a festival on the banks of the Mississippi River. This band promises a haunting taste of Louisiana past and present, and delivers an eclectic mix that stirs every chakra. Get on your dancing shoes and shrimp boots!
‘T Marie will lead a Cajun dance workshop at 4:30pm. At 6:00pm we’ll enjoy a potluck supper, and at 7:00pm we’ll transition to the concert and dancing.
